Molly + Matt | Springton Manor Farm Wedding

Molly + Matt | Springton Manor Farm Wedding

Molly and Matt are the perfect artsy scientist couple (literally a scientist), which makes me love them even more, so when Matt shared these words during the ceremony, I was completely in tears alongside Molly. I can only imagine how she must have felt hearing these words:

Lost somewhere between immensity and eternity is a tiny blue dot that we humans call home. And yet our species is young and curious and brave and shows much promise. In the last few millennia we have made the most astonishing and unexpected discoveries. We are constantly reminded that humans have evolved to wonder, that understanding is a joy, that knowledge is a prerequisite to survival. Our little planet floats like a mote of dust in the morning sky. All that you see, all that we can see, exploded out of a star billions of years ago, and the particles slowly arranged themselves into living things, including all of us. We are made of star stuff. We are the mechanism by which the universe can comprehend itself.

The world is so exquisite with so much love and moral depth. We should remain grateful every day for the brief but magnificent opportunity that life provides. The sum of all our evolution, our thinking and our accomplishments is love. How on earth can you explain in terms of chemistry and physics so important a biological phenomenon as love? Put your hand on a stove for a minute and it seems like an hour. Sit with the person you love for an hour and it seems like a minute. That's relativity. A marriage makes two fractional lives a whole. It gives to two questioning natures a renewed reason for living. It brings a new gladness to the sunshine, a new fragrance to the flowers, a new beauty to the earth, and a new mystery to life.

Heather + Glenn | State College, PA Backyard Wedding

Heather and Glenn's backyard wedding in State College, PA was simple, warm, comfortable, beautiful, and fun—everything you'd want in a backyard wedding. They really had a plus one with the already-built barn, and the private property allowed for an all night party with their closest friends and family.

Other than the fact that is was brutally hot, I was easily distracted by the open arms everyone had towards me. The fact that I had just met Heather and Glenn on their wedding day (not usually the case) and sat at the head table, says a lot about the company I had that day and the kind of people that they both will have in their lives, supporting them.

Katlyn + Kyle | Lodge at Liberty Forge Wedding

For those that love weddings with a warm sunset, rich reds, and a romantic vibe, this wedding is all that and a strawberry on top! The wedding venue, located in York, PA, the Lodge at Liberty Forge, creates a rich and welcoming atmosphere, letting in so much of that natural light, and you can't help but fall in love with its lightly wooded golf course, creating the perfect backdrop.

Katlyn and Kyle made me smile all day. Their little romantic gestures mirrored their wedding style and their sweet and soft personalities were a true reflection of the tempting cupcakes made by Just Cupcakes and the soft florals crafted by Everyone Deserves Flowers—even the dresses were a perfect fit for the couple.

Abby + Anthony | Historic Shady Lane Wedding

Abby and Anthony nailed the garden-meets-whimsical-meets-elegant theme! If your looking for a beautiful and fun wedding thats wrapped in golds, whites, and not too many flowers, this wedding story is for you.  Abby spills the details on what made her wedding one of the most memorable days of her life, and advise for those anticipating their own wedding day.

How did you meet, and most important, how did he propose?
Anthony and I met through friends when Anthony was home during leave from the army. Usually around our area we would go on walks through certain parks and Anthony took me on a walk through the park one day and proposed there!

Personalized wedding details, tell us about em'!
We had little signs of both of us throughout the day like the panda on top of the cake that I’ve been obsessed with for a while. Anthony took me to see the pandas in a zoo on one of our first dates. Also, instead of doing favors, we donated to charities that meant a lot to both of us!

What was your favorite part of the wedding day?
The favorite part of our day was definitely hearing each other‘s vows and just enjoying each other‘s company throughout the whole reception. We also had dragonflies with all of the bridesmaids which symbolizes my nanny. And we also had pictures of our grandparents in the entranceway from their wedding.

Do you have any wedding planning or marriage advice that you’d like to share with other couples planning their day?
Your wedding day will go really fast so enjoy every moment with each other and have fun! There's going to be a lot of stressors, but the most important part of that day is that you get married!

Asking yourself who did all that amazing signage? Sorry wedding planners, her aunt did all the calligraphy for the mirrors, program, seating chart, desert signage, and bar signage! Go aunty!

Sam + Mark | Camp Cann-Edi-On Woodland Wedding

Sam and many great things to say about them, it's easy to begin and difficult to end. They are hands down adorable and you get an immediate sense of love and support. Might sound strange, but they both know what they want and their future seems clear.

On the wedding day I showed up over an hour early. long story, but it goes fast with so many great details surrounding the camp. This particular camp, Camp Cann-Edi-On, was my first and only choice for my own wedding, so I fall in love with the idea of photographing here every time. The details were filled with nature, glass wine bottles, and hints of vintage peppered in. A venue like this really does all the work for you.  With some yard games,  an outdoor dance floor, and a keg truck provided by Brewery Products, you really don't need much more to entertain your guests.

What makes this wedding even more entertaining? The ceremony was on fire! Scroll to see the BEST unity idea for a wedding, and if you make it to the very end, you see a special announcement from the bride and groom!

Melissa + Matt | Goggle Works Wedding

Melissa and Matt's wedding left me inspired. Her wedding dress was a red velvet a-line midi and her veil was handmade, elegant and whimsical. The ceremony was urban idustrial      and their portraits were taken at a nearby asian pagoda. With touches of greens set as table runners it gave just the right balance of nature meets industrial. Without a defined theme, this wedding was unique and different in the best way possible.
